Customer service is my passion. Since a young age I have done everything from paper rounds, milk rounds and running large retail outlets so I understand what customers want. I set up the Reading franchise in 2007.
In my opinion old fashioned customer service is dying and nothing gets me more annoyed than a virtual receptionist or an automated phone answering system! As a customer of InXpress Reading I give you my personal guarantee that we will never put these systems in place and you will be treated like a person not a number.
Outside of work I enjoy running (don’t call me a jogger though!!) and spending time with family and friends.
I have been with InXpress since mid-September 2017 after 10 years in various shipping roles within both large and small organisations. This previous experience gives me a good knowledge of international imports and exports. I am hard working, passionate, driven by results and have a genuine love for the industry and customer service. I enjoy problem solving and giving the best service to customers at the best price possible.
Outside of work I like to DJ (but not professionally anymore) and spend time with family and friends.
I joined InXpress Reading at the start of 2017, having previously worked in the hospitality industry in England and Ireland in 4 and 5 star hotels. I have even looked after some VIP's (I may name drop if asked nicely!). I love to travel and have a massive passion for aviation so will normally be able to answer your air freight questions around routes and planes - and all without the need for Google!
I have been with InXpress since March 2013 after spending 10 years as a self-employed Hairdresser… and I have not looked back since! My time as a hairdresser gave me the vital business management skills and customer service experience that is so important to InXpress. I love the courier industry and the fast paced office that I work in - it is definitely a job that never has a dull day!
My life is quite full outside of work, which I thrive on. I am a real country girl at heart and enjoy spending my free time being active outdoors in the fresh air. I have a real love for animals and my biggest passion is horses - my husband and I own five between us and our herd is ever growing!
Customer relations manager
I have been running my own telemarketing business for 20 years, which has included working closely with InXpress for seven of those years. I have enjoyed working on behalf of the InXpress Reading franchise for over six years in a part-time freelance capacity.
In January 2018 I joined Craig and the team on a more full time basis, taking on the role of Customer Relationship Manager. I am passionate about looking after our customers, helping to ensure they get the first class service they deserve, solving any issues they may have and maintaining excellent relationships with them. If our customers are happy then I am happy.
Out of work, I enjoy reading, gardening, sewing, and, through my husband's photography, amateur rugby league. I enjoy listening to music and my favourite artist is Bryan Adams. I love travel and although I have visited lots of countries I have an ever increasing bucket list.
