InXpress Franchisee Hosts Coreyfest for Charity

10th November 2016

You might remember Luke Price’s story we documented in the Summer (click here to read Luke’s story), he climbed Mount Snowden to raise money for Dravet Syndrome UK. His nephew, Corey, suffers from the condition and since his diagnosis, Luke has dedicated a huge amount of his time to raising awareness of the syndrome in order to give other families the support they need.

On Friday the 18th November, Luke will be hosting Coreyfest, an evening with three local bands performing and a raffle which will serve to raise both money and awareness for Dravet Syndrome UK. InXpress franchisees are strongly encouraged to give back to their local communities and this is something that Luke dedicates much of his spare time to.

“We’re hosting Coreyfest to raise even more money for Dravet Syndrome UK. My nephew, Corey, has had tremendous support from the charity and, as a family, we really wanted to give back for all the help we’ve had since Corey’s diagnosis. Corey and his parents have been provided with specialist equipment to make Corey’s life easier and a little more comfortable. It’s also been great for them to speak to others in the same position as them and take full advantage of the support on offer,” explains Luke.

At InXpress, we know that Luke will continue to raise money for Dravet Syndrome UK and even more charitable causes. We’re looking forward to hearing about the success of Coreyfest and future events held by Luke.
